British Smaller Companies VCT plc and British Smaller Companies VCT2 plc (together the BSC VCTs) have now received applications to the maximum level permitted and the Offers are now closed to new applications.

Please note applications and monies received from on or around 11 October 2025 will be allotted on 1 or 2 April 2026.  Applications and monies received prior to 11 October 2025 which were included within the first £25 million raised, will be allotted on 7 January 2026. Monies will be held in an interest bearing account during this time, accruing 2.36% per annum interest. Please note that from the 27 January 2026, the interest rate will reduce to 2.06% per annum. The interest rate remains subject to bank change.

The offers

The Prospectus is now available to view in respect of the joint offers by British Smaller Companies VCT plc and British Smaller Companies VCT2 plc (the “Offers”).

These two established VCTs are now raising up to £85 million in total, following the activation of the £25 million over-allotment facility. The Offers are open to both existing shareholders and new investors for the current 2025/26 tax year.

The early bird offer of 0.125% on the first £25 million raised has now closed. In addition, cleared funds awaiting allotment will receive additional shares equivalent to a 2.36% per annum / 2.07% per annum return*. From the 27 January 2026, the interest rate will reduce to 2.06% per annum from the previous rate of 2.36% per annum.

When will my shares be allotted

If you submitted your application and monies by 10 October then your shares will be allotted in January 2026.  For any applications and monies received after that date will be allotted on 1 or 2 April 2026. Monies will be held in an interest bearing account during this time, accruing 2.36% per annum interest (subject to bank change). When will the Income Tax Relief Certificates be issued

Income Tax Relief Certificates be issued within 10 business days of the allotments. These can be accessed from both investor portal and the tracking system

When will I receive my Share Certificate(s)

The Share Certificates will be posted out within 10 business days of each allotment
