At YFM Equity Partners, we specialise in providing tailored management buyout funding solutions for entrepreneurs, business owners, and management teams across the UK.

With a funding capacity ranging from £3 million to £15 million, we are dedicated to supporting ownership change transactions, facilitating equity release for existing shareholders, and financing strategic acquisitions.

When we invest into a business, we work with its management team to create a strategic framework that they can use to move the company forward. Throughout the period of our investment, our portfolio team works closely with management to support them in delivering and evolving these plans. 

Portfolio management

We allocate members of our team to take the lead in managing each of the investments in our portfolio. These individuals have the time to focus on their portfolio businesses and each brings significant experience in providing strategic support to businesses going through this phase of growth.

Within our team, we have functional specialists who bring specific knowledge across three areas that can make a meaningful difference to the growth of a business and its value in the future. These three areas are our value creation pillars:

  • ESG – we evaluate ESG risks and opportunities during the initial investment phase and on an ongoing basis, creating a tailored engagement plan with management that can build underlying resilience and capture potential upsides.
