Laura Sisson talks scale up funding with Fund Her North

Laura Sisson, Investment Manager at YFM Equity Partners, is taking part in an online event called Taking The Fear Out Of Scale Up Funding. The webinar will involve a panel of expert guest speakers and an opportunity for entrepreneurs to chat with experienced funders in informal breakout rooms.

The event features Tracy Lewis and Gemma McCall as guest speakers. Tracy Lewis is a cross-sector NED and Chair with a retail background at companies such as Next, Mothercare and Marks & Spencer. She is also the co-founder of Loop Cashmere, an online luxury cashmere brand with sustainability at its core. Gemma McCall, CEO of Culture Shift, a business which creates digital products that positively change the culture within an organisation.

This the latest in a series of events run by Fund Her North, an organisation which Laura joined shortly after starting at YFM. Their aim is to empower female founders and tackle the barriers facing women accessing investment. Fund Her North also includes includes representatives from Mercia Asset Management, Palatine Private Equity, Praetura, Catapult Ventures, Deepbridge Capital, Foresight and NEL Fund Managers.
