YFM Equity Partners has been providing small business funding across the UK since 1982. We help UK small businesses scale up, grow faster and navigate through ownership change.

With over £680m of assets under management, we invest in:

  • We initially invest £2m – £10m growth capital funding into businesses to help them grow faster and we have capacity for follow on investment.
  • Funding business for recruiting more team members, investing in product development or opening overseas offices.
  • For YFM Equity Partners to invest in UK small business, we ideally like to see at least £1m of sales in the last 12 months.
  • We invest £3m – £15m including capacity for follow on, into businesses to support ownership change transactions.
  • This could be for a management buyout, or to provide equity release to existing shareholders or to fund an acquisition.
  • For YFM Equity Partners to invest, we ideally like to see at least £1m of profits in the last 12 months.

Jamie is Chief Investment Officer at YFM and sits on the Board and Investment Committee. Jamie leads all our Investment and Portfolio activity across the UK having first joined YFM in 2012. Since joining YFM Jamie has directly led and supported dozens of investments across all our funds and sat on many boards through to exit. Jamie is passionate about social inclusion having led YFM’s first internship programme and works with a Charity that focuses on less advantaged students to show them the opportunities that are available to them outside of their immediate network.

Tiffany joined YFM as Investment Manager in April 2021 and was promoted to Director in 2023, following the origination of two deals which culminated in investment – Plandek and DrDoctor. As Origination Director, Tiffany’s primary focus is on sourcing high-potential investment opportunities as well as cultivating long-term relationships with promising companies that may currently be in their early stages, while continuing her responsibilities as Investment Director.
