The developments

  • Expanded UK production capabilities, launched new products and invested in the sales team to support growth
  • Developed strategic manufacturing partnerships in the Far East and, although not in the original plan, opened a custom built factory in Romania
  • Secured full AS9100C accreditation to enable work on military specific applications in response to customer demand
  • Sold to Volex plc, a strategic trade buyer, in 2018 for a 3.4x return
