Supporting the causes that matter to our people and communities

Whether it’s supporting colleagues, backing local communities or raising money for causes that matter, it’s those shared values that make YFM what it is.

Being invested doesn’t stop at the workplace. Over recent weeks, colleagues from across YFM have taken on fundraising walks to support charities helping children and young people, each inspired by a cause close to their hearts.

Members of our Leeds team recently joined the Leeds Children’s Charity Summer Walk, alongside co-sponsors Cooper Parry, to raise funds for Leeds Children’s Charity. The charity helps disadvantaged children across Leeds by providing residential breaks and experiences at Lineham Farm, creating opportunities, building confidence and making lasting memories.

Were Nic M, Mike Clarke, Adam Milner, James Warburton, Neil Inskip, Adam Lynch, Nick A and Callum Stewart. Together, the team has raised over  £3k so far, with donations continuing to support the charity’s work.

Climbing Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) with family and friends in memory of Dilraj (“Dilly”). Through the Forever Dilly fundraising appeal, the challenge is helping to raise money in Dilly’s memory to support children and families facing incredibly difficult circumstances, ensuring his legacy continues to make a difference.

both reflect the same values. Whether joining an organised fundraising event or taking on a personal challenge, our colleagues continue to invest their time and energy in supporting others and strengthening the communities around them.
