Stephen Murray

Responsibilities

Stephen focuses on originating and executing new investments, primarily across the Midlands region.

Experience

Stephen worked in advisory roles at the Big 4 before moving the Royal Bank of Scotland supporting local SMEs. He then moved from RBS into investment roles at Finance Birmingham and latterly BGF where he supported a number of fast-growing SMEs in the Midlands. Stephen joined YFM in 2022 after supporting local SMEs with fund-raising, acquisitions and strategic advice.

Interests

Outside work Stephen is kept busy by his energetic young daughter and he finds time to enjoy cooking and DIY projects at home. Stephen is also (slowly) learning to ride a motorcycle.
