James joined the investment team in September 2023, based out of Manchester, he is responsible for originating, evaluating and executing new buyout and growth capital opportunities, predominately in the North West.
James joined YFM from the corporate finance team at Dow Schofield Watts, where he spent 4 years working on a range of transactions, predominately buyside in the business services sector. Immediately prior to this, James worked for the corporate finance arm of a regional accounting firm, where he also qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant.
Outside of work, James is a keen cook – almost never following a recipe. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, and their pets, including country walks in all weathers.
