YFM Equity Partners has sold its investment in Metronet (UK) Limited, the fast-growing hybrid wireless and fibre Internet service provider to private equity firm LDC, making a significant return on its original investment. As part of the buyout, LDC has invested £11m of equity.

The North West Fund for Development Capital, which is managed by YFM Equity Partners, has invested £650,000 of development capital into Mynt Facilities Services Limited, a Merseyside-based commercial cleaning business, following a series of recent acquisitions. This is the fifth investment that YFM Equity Partners has made from The North West Fund for Development Capital and its third in Merseyside.

Andrew Marchant, one of the founders of the UK and European private equity industry has joined YFM Equity Partners in the new position of non-executive Chairman.
